Responding to John's comment posted above on 2/18/09 . . . I agree with you John, it seems inappropriate, insensitive and and in very poor taste for MTV to air Dyrdek's show at this time. But I guess the argument can be made that families are looking to escape their economic troubles be watching mindless, inane T.V. Also I want to point out that even though Rob's social development seems a little arrested, he's not a kid. He's actually 34. (That might be the most disturbing thing about him and his show. Then again, it could be his "schtick" [not sure if I spelled that right]). His alleged "best friend" Big Black from his other show, "Rob & Big", has called him out as being a phony and a douche bag. He doesn't come right out and say it, but you can definitely read between the lines. IMO, Black seems a little ashamed and apologetic about taking part in Rob & Big. If you or anyone else on here is interested, you can read what Black has to say about Rob in his myspace blog.
