Rob Dyrdek is beyond characterization; he is not a personality who can be simplified into one sound bite. Rob is a doer – besides a long and influential career as a professional skateboarder, Rob is also a TV star, filmmaker, serial entrepreneur, marketing whiz, and a multi-faceted philanthropist dedicated to supporting skateboarding.

Rob Dyrdek has leveraged his creativity, business savvy, and professional skateboard career in order to launch a long list of charities, innovative businesses, movies, television shows and various widely distributed brands including DC Shoes, Rogue Status/DTA, Silver Trucks, Alien Workshop, Reflex Bearings, IVI eyewear and Stance Socks.

2012 is poised to be the biggest year yet for Dyrdek. With eight seasons of television under his belt, Rob will be entering his ninth season on MTV with momentum. Season 5 of Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory is set to air from March 19th – April 23rd, immediately followed by the 2nd Season of the chart topping, hit series Ridiculousness from April 30th – September 1st. In addition to his wildly successful MTV shows, Rob is also finalizing production on the animated series based on his childhood skate crew, Wild Grinders – premiering on Nicktoons™ April 8th. Still focused on his roots, Rob continues to work towards the global sustainability of skateboarding through the Rob Dyrdek Foundation and his professional sports property, Street League Skateboarding™. Street League will begin its 3rd touring season in the summer with four ESPN televised stops: Kansas City, MO – May 15th, Los Angeles, CA – June 16th, Phoenix, AZ – July 26th and the Championship in Newark, NJ on Aug. 29th. 2013 will start a few months early for Rob with the filming of Season 6 of Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory in September, and Season 3 of Ridiculousness in December.
